Hello everyone at RLV. We are thinking of Van with you today. Allegra, a candle will be burning tonight along with your's for Van's spirit that lives on.

I met Van through S.P.A.T.S.             I had a costume business at my home, in Catalina. I was asked to help provide for a kid's Summer production of,                                      THE FROG PRINCE.

He told what he wanted, and what he didn't. 

I delivered it, and stayed to watch a rehearsal.

  VAN, dressed as a FROG, immersed  in character and passionately declaring LOVE!

We were shocked when we heard the news of Van's passing. We had only just seen him last year at the Amerind Museum opening in Dragoon. We are sure the memory of his spirit will live on amongst his family, friends and associates. Always gracious, always present, always vital.

Van, like so many other RLV e…
1987, Rancho Linda Vista Artists Community, West Linda Vista Road, Oracle, AZ, USA
Van, like so many other RLV elders, helped raise my brothers and I. He was a role model, a safe and loving friend, a teacher, and mentor. When I was about 15, we really connected when he took me on a road trip around AZ and New Mexico for several days. His ease and confidence going with the flow was evident and inspiring. I remain shocked and saddened that he is gone so abruptly but will travel on with him in my heart forever. ❤️
