Val was also a great sister!  She loved baking and was always happy to share cookies, brownies, cakes and other delights.  She loved her dogs and always had fun names for them.  Bogus King Bachus comes to mind and something or other Morning Glory (Mo).  She always kept a rag at the ready for the various St. Bernards and Great Pyrenees, to catch their sloppy drips.  She always had interesting friends, interesting travels, and interesting jobs, with a passion for art and good food and good stories.  I still have a set of clay bongos that she brought back from Morocco decades ago.  If memory serves, I recall that she flew to Europe, purchased a car, drove all over the place and visited many sites, then sold the car to get airfare home.  Good times!  Anyone who knew her loved her and she will be missed by many.  I will always remember her fondly and I wish her peace.
I will always remember Val in my heart as someone who could light up a room just by walking into it. She will be missed but never forgotten
