On March 4, 2022, VALERIE SUE VERRECCHIO, devoted sister of Gina Leavey, Michelle Horodowicz, Louie Verrecchio, Ronnie Verrecchio; loving mother of Brandon Johnston; grandmother of Brandon ("Little B") Johnston, dear aunt, cousin, treasured friend of many. A graduate of Mount de Sales Academy and University of Baltimore, Val's career included healthcare and executive administration. After more than a decade living in Portland, OR, Val returned home to Catonsville, MD, in 2020. A woman of strong, Catholic faith, active in her parish as a lector and marriage coordinator, Val will be sorely missed by many. In lieu of flowers, family and friends are encouraged to make a donation in Valerie's memory to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
