Valerie DiRisio, 66, born December 26, 1958, passed away on April 4, 2025. Mother of two and grandmother of two.

Originally from upstate NY, she moved to Orlando, FL in the late 90s. Started working for Walt Disney World in housekeeping, then moved to merchandise, ride operator, then finally front desk at one of the resorts. She retired from Disney in 2018, a year after her husband, Michael DiRisio passed away due to heart failure. 

She was an avid reader with an extensive book collection. Like to bake especially Christmas cookies. She would play card games or board games with friends on the weekends. She enjoyed crocheting from time to time as well. 

She suffered a heart attack and underwent quadruple bypass surgery in July of 2021. In February of 2025 she was diagnosed with cancer. Before being able to start chemo it spread very aggressively and rapidly, and she unfortunately lost the battle about a month later.

She will always be loved and missed but never forgotten. She is survived by her son Jonathan Clark, her partner Timothy Brown, and close friends.
