Valeria's obituary
Our family unexpectedly lost our family's matriarch, Valeria, on January 01, 2024. She was just 79 years old. Valeria spent most of life in her beloved hometown of Fulton, AR, a community she was happy to call home. Valeria was born in the Philippines and was one of 5 children. Though she was relentlessly spoiled, she grew up with a desire to build community and help anyone who was less fortunate. When she passed, she had three children (George, Rowina and Rodney), eight grandchildren (Jasmine, Teena, Rebecca, Valori, Alexandra, Alexandria, Mai-Yuma, Malia), seventeen great grandchildren (Ta’Ani, Malosi, Lalalei,Manuia, Inina, Abigail, Ezekiel, Zavier, Eliyahna, Izayah, Stephen, Cairi, Sebastian, Yvonne, Ahmaia, Khadeyn & Marley) and many more friends, extended family members, and loving coworkers and church congregation that she considered family.
Her true passion in life was growing plants, decorating and taking care of her animals that she shared jointly with her late husband, Richard Lewis, whom she truly adored and spent over 50 years of her life with . In her more recent years, Valeria enjoyed taking care of her plants, animals, watching TV, playing on her phone or chatting with her comadres, spending time with her children or grandchildren and going to church or volunteering. Valeria was a devout Catholic who always prayed and believed in the Lord.
Our family requests donations be made to George B. Lewis via cash or cashapp at $ed1love.
Thank you so much for your support and love during this time.
