I will always recall fondly the impact this young man had on my life in the short time I had the privilege of knowing him. Always in my thoughts and prayers. Missing him . Love 💗

Vahan was such a sweet, kind soul. He was so musically talented and funny. I think back fondly on the times we spent together playing video games, hanging out, talking, and going on drives together. He always boasted so much about his beautiful daughter and how proud he was of her 🫶🏻 rip you beautiful gem, hope you’re able to vibe with Mac Miller in heaven 💕

When Vahan was around 10 or 11, I asked him to help me out on the organ at Church. I was planning to be out-of-town the following Sunday and was not able to find a substitute organist. The Church organ had an internal recorder, so I had recorded the entire Service on the organ. But, of course, I needed a responsible soul to run the recorder - push Play, Pause, Stop at just the right times, adjust volume levels, etc. As my extremely bright and trustworthy piano student, I knew Vahan could handle the situation. It was easy for him to master the use of the controls to accomplish the task.
As I was told later by many members of the congregation, sure enough, Vahan was seated on the organ bench plenty early to start the Prelude. They say he did a great job of turning the recorder on & off at exactly the correct times. But for the sake of those (most people) who did not realize it was a recorder playing the organ, during each selection, Vahan sat up tall & put his hands on one of the manuals and pretended to play! Boy, did I get the compliments when I returned from my trip about how well I had taught Vahan to play the organ! A boy that young playing the organ so fantastically, and with such confidence!
