Uvatira's obituary
Ms. Uvatira Zenzelee Johnnisha Watson entered this life on September 19, 1994 in Laurel, Mississippi to Tracy Roberts and John W. Watson, Sr. She lived a life filled with joy peace happiness and serving God.
Uvatira grew up in Ellisville, MS, joining Pleasant Grove Baptist at a young age and was active in the church. She attended Laurel Christian School grades 1-7 and and South Jones High School grades 8-12, graduating with honors. She then attended the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa and Jones College, Ellisville, MS.
At this point Uvatira commited to join the Mississippi Air National Guard. After completing Basic Training she attended technical school in San Antonio, TX and became a certified medic.
She applied her skills with AAA Ambulance Service in Hattiesburg, MS when not on active duty. She also worked at Walk Ons Restaurant. Uvatira was currently at the University of Southern Mississippi, on track to receive her Bachelors degree, in May 2023.
Uvatira departed this life on August 29th during a single vehicle accident.
Uvatira leaves to cherish her memory, her mother Tracy Roberts, father John W. Watson, Sr, Uncle Lee (Latonya) Roberts, siblings Joyce Michelle Watson, Antonio (Bam) D. Watson Trotter, Miyoshi D. Watson, Kenya S. Watson, John W. (Fero) Watson, Jr and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents A.W. Watson, Sr and Mrs. Verna Mae Watson, Mr. Lee Jr Roberts, and Mrs. Ister Roberts and her Uncle Johnnie E. White.
