It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ute Gertrude Summerhill on 11/24/2024 at her home, where she passed peacefully.

Ute was born on January 16th, 1947 in Marburg, Germany to Anne and Heinrich Schweinsberger. She lived a life filled with laughter, kindness and family. Her presence was a blessing to all who knew her.

Ute enjoyed nature, good food, the winter, and spending time with her loved ones. Ute was a high roller in Atlantic City. She was also an extremely savvy business woman; her career enabled her to travel around the globe. Some of her favorite places to travel were her hometown, Marburg Germany, Windsor England, Switzerland, and Canada, where she raised her children in their early years. Ute also was very quick witted and enjoyed making people laugh. To know Ute was to love her.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Tracey Lynn and her parents Omi and Opa. Ute was deeply loved by her beloved daughter Lori Ann, her son Darrell Terrell, her husband Robert Jr., her sisters Estrid and Ursula, and her brother Heinz Ludwig along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, creativity and perseverance. Ute Summerhill will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

Because Ute made a heroic decision to donate her body to science, the date and time of her memorial service has yet to be determined and will be announced at a later date.

Ute Summerhill will be forever missed and her memory will be ingrained in the hearts of all those who knew her.
