Ufezeener was born in Lexington NC but lived in Brooklyn most of her life. She left behind her four son's Laverne Garris, Michael Garris, Ivan Garris and Leander Garris. Three daughter's name Lisa Garris, Terracina Garris and Connie Garris. Ufezeener also had 21 grand children, 31 great grand children and she also lived to become a great great grandmother.
