Tyrone's obituary
Tyrone McBride was born on March 25, 1961 and lived in Miami, FL. He passed away at age 64 on January 1, 2026.
Tyrone was a skilled and hands‑on person who loved working with tools and building things. In his spare time, he enjoyed assembling model cars and, for several years, he was into weightlifting and bodybuilding. He was a student at Northwestern High School and worked for many years as a bouncer and security guard, where his steady presence and practical abilities were valued by colleagues and patrons alike.
A devoted animal lover, Tyrone cared for reptiles for many years before his marriage, including a pet yellow python and an iguana named Judy. He had a deep passion for guns, ensuring everyone he knew or came into contact with, knew the worth of owning a gun. He married Synthia Anita Nellon on September 21, 2002 – his forever Best Friend. Those closest to him remember Tyrone for his steady hands, love of guns, for his quiet strength and trust in God until his final hours, and the steady companionship he offered to Synthia until her passing.
Tyrone is survived by two nephews and two nieces: Ralph McBride IV (Kimberly), Clifton Brown, Monique Brown and Tia Brown; several great nephews and nieces; Winston and William McBride; and sisters-in-law, Dorothea McBride; C. Elaine Whitlow, Burnita, and two great aunts Alice Jordan and Erlene George.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Synthia recently on May 1, 2025; his parents Ralph and Jenny McBride Jr.; brother, Ralph McBride III; and sister Angela Brown.
