Happy Birthday, Tyler. You were such an awesome person, my son and I were blessed to have you as our maintenance guy for almost 5 years. You loved your daughter so much, I know because you always talked about her and when you talked about her your face would light up and you would have the biggest smile. You are seriously, greatly missed….
Our deepest sympathy to all. Our prayers go out to you all. 🙏🙏🙏 Lots of fond memories of him growing up.

Rest in Peace Tyler, gone too soon. ❤

In the summer of 2018, I started a new job working at an apt. complex. I was introduced to the small staff and welcomed with "elbow bumps" - the Covid substitute for a handshake. Tyler, however, gave me a smile, a quick nod of his head, and reached out his arm to shake my hand. From that moment on, an unlikely friendship grew between two people who, on the surface, had about as much in common as a treestump and a roller skate. Over the next few months, I developed a tremendous admiration and respect for Tyler: for his work ethic; his knowledge of all things mechanical; his undeniable love and dedication to his family. I had only a few months to get to know Tyler, yet I felt as I had known him all my life.
People come into our lives, and sometimes leave, for reasons we may never know. What I do know, without a doubt, is that my friendship with Tyler was a gift that I will cherish and hold close for the rest of my life.
I will miss you more than my words can ever express.

I did not know him well but I know he was a very special young man he was dearly loved by my Son Nick Turley and he will be missed
In response to "What did you learn from Tyler?"
Tyler was one of the best to work with at the apartments. Whether it was the weekend or during the week, he always always available to help. Tyler also assisted me with several small and big repairs at my house. Anytime I need him, he was right there willing to do anything needed. Tyler is someone that will be missed but never forgotten with me and my family.
Tyler, my first-born grandchild. You have always been so vivacious with the biggest heart. You've been my helper since you were a very small child. When all of the grandkids were at "Nana's house", you went into big brother mode and took care of your sister and cousins. When you were seven, you came to take care of me because I had surgery on both of my feet. When your grandpa "Papa" and I moved this past summer, you were right there helping us with so many things. I love you now and always and miss you terribly. But I know I will see you again, so I won't say good-bye. I will say, "So long, see you later, Ty."
Love, Nana
Tyler was made of a special kind of something, and that something had some magic to it. Everyday I got to work with him was a delight. I enjoyed that we both went off into tangents in our conversations, felt like we just got each other that way.

I miss your light my friend!! I know wherever you are is beautiful, tranquil, and now just a whole lot more magical! Always know that I appreciate you!!
There are no words that will make the loss of Tyler any less painful. Tyler’s love will continue to live on through the lives he saved. Sending love and prayers. May the presence of God’s love comfort your family.
Too soon, too soon...God called you home too soon. There will forever be a hole in the fabric that is our family. You will always be missed, always loved, never forgotten. ❤ Great Aunt Carolyn.
Tyler has been in my corner my whole life. Every time I was with him I felt like he genuinely wanted to hang out with me, even though I was probably the annoying little cousin. One of my favorite memories was my 5th birthday. I wanted a huge party (per usual), but when my dad came home with Tyler to celebrate with me, that was more than I could have asked for. We did whatever I wanted the whole afternoon. Of course this included playing “pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey” over and over, which of course, became “pin-the-tail-on-the-tyler” very quickly.

Tyler, you are and always have been so, so loved ❤️.
When I was little Tyler used …
When I was little Tyler used to give me piggy back and shoulder rides and I always thought it would be soo funny to cover his eyes so he would run into the walls of Nanas house. He was always so fun and the little time we did get to spend together was always the best! I love and miss you so much Ty but don’t worry Ill see you again and when I do you owe me a piggy back ride <3

My heart goes out to all of Tyler’s family. It’s been years since I last saw Tyler, I was his Kindergarten teacher, but his little five year old charming smile is forever ingrained in my mind. Thankful for the hope of heaven. Until the day you hug him again, praying for God’s love to wrap you and give you peace in the midst of the hurt.

All my love,
Jobie Taber
