Obituary for Tyler Anthony King

Tyler King of Allen, Texas passed away August 8, 2025 at the age of 33. He was born to Tony King and Vicki Henson on December 1, 1991 in Nashville,Tennessee.

Tyler graduated from Allen High School. He was a member of Church 1132. Tyler enjoyed Pokemon card trading, skateboarding, bowling, fantasy football, spending time with family and coaching his son’s basketball team.

He is survived by his wife, Brandy King of Allen, Texas; son, Liam King of Allen, Texas; stepson, Maverick Allen of Allen, Texas; parents, Vicki and Stephen Patterson of Allen, Texas; brother, Mark Elkin of Collierville, Tennessee; sister, Lacey King of Collierville, Tennessee; niece, Presley Casey of Allen, Texas; niece, Ava Davis of Allen, Texas; niece, Haven Elkin of Bartlett Tennessee; and niece, Lexi Jo Elkin of Bartlett,Tennessee and a step grandmother, Carolyn Henson of Collierville, Tennessee

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, August 18, 2025 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park following the service.

The family will receive guests for a visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday evening at the funeral home.
