Tyler's obituary
Tyler Scott Engle
September 4, 1992 – October 27, 2025
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Tyler Scott Engle. While our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing he is now at peace in the presence of the Lord.
Tyler was a bright and unique light in this world, someone who naturally brought smiles to the faces of those around him. He had a joyful spirit and a love for life that reflected the goodness God placed within him.
He is survived by his parents Scott and Jennifer; his sister Kelly and her husband, Ben, along with their children; his grandmother, Sally; and countless aunts, uncles, and cousins who will deeply miss him.
Tyler loved to travel and especially cherished his annual Thanksgiving cruises with his parents, a tradition that brought him great joy. One of the proudest highlights of his life was serving as the starting setter on his high school volleyball team, helping lead them to a state championship.
Anyone who knew Tyler knew his energy was contagious. Whether it was his love for life or his unforgettable singing, he had a way of leaving a lasting impression. If you were ever serenaded by him, you can probably still hear him singing the lyrics that were on his mind that day.
Though this loss has been incredibly difficult to process, especially given how unexpected it was, we hold onto our faith and the promise that we will see him again. “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18)
Tyler will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
If you have a memory of Tyler, we would love for you to share it and help celebrate the life he lived.
Thank you, and God bless you all.
