Born on March 6, 1963 on the island of Hawaii, Tusi graced the world with her warmth, strength, love, and positivity for 61 years. She was not only a caring mother and grandmother, but also an inspirational light radiating positivity to all those around her.
Tusi is survived by her loving daughters, Sarah and Sina Tuaolo. She was not just a parent, but a friend and mentor who instilled in them invaluable life lessons. Tusi’s faith was the bedrock of her strength. She believed firmly in looking to God in times of difficulty, an enduring lesson she passed on to her daughters.
Beyond her role as a mother, Tusi was a woman of many talents and passions. She was a skilled hairdresser, admired by many for her creativity and passion. Tusi was an admirer of her colleges talents and always strived to recognize talent when she saw it.
She also had an immeasurable love for the outdoors, often spending her free time exploring the wonders that nature offered. She loved to take her family up north to Brainard and spent most of her time at Grandview Lodge. This love extended to a passion for triathlons, where she not only participated but thrived, demonstrating her unwavering strength and determination.
Perhaps the most significant part of her legacy is her family. Tusi leaves behind three beautiful grandchildren and two strong daughters, whom she cherished and nurtured with all her heart. She embedded in them her loving spirit, her strong faith, and her unwavering resilience, and it is through them that her legacy will live on.
In every facet of her life, Tusi was a beacon of strength and positivity. Her passing leaves a void that no one can fill. However, we take solace in the knowledge that her love, her lessons, and her spirit will continue to guide us. Tusipasi Tuaolo will be deeply missed.
