I met Tusi maybe a year ago at work. She is one of the kindest people I have ever met. I had plastic spiders in my hair for Halloween and she wanted to have one, too. I obviously gave her one- anybody’s that loves spooky and goofy is a friend of mine! We would chat about how many family members I see  over the holidays and how lucky we both were to have such close relationships with those who mattered most to us. I remember she praised me as a daughter for having so much fun and having so much love for my mom. She shared similar loves and fun. She is a special person I was honored to know. And although brief- I still really cherish and miss her.
I am so sad to learn of Tusi's passing. She was the first stylist at Spalon to welcome me and work her miracles with my hair when I started working there. She was always very positive and funny. In the years since then, I would randomly run into her out in the world and she always had a "Hey Girl!" with a big smile and warm hug for me. Such a beautiful, kind soul. I am so sorry to her family for your unfathomable loss. I will never forget her.
I loved working with Tusi. We had so much fun at work and outside of work. She has a beautiful soul. She will be missed. So sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry to hear about Tusi.  She had a wonderful spirit about her.

A few memories:

I lived close by, and I came over to snow blow her driveway a few times. I told her it wasn't necessary to pay me... She stuck her hand in my pocket and wouldn't let me give the money back!

She also needed help with getting her car up the driveway once in the snow, I happened to be walking by, and she literally just let me drive her car! She was lovely and the trust she showed in people was also lovely.

There was also a time when we were trick or treating, and I randonly met her for the first time, with her grandkids, same age as my kids. We spent the rest of the evening together walking around our neighborhood. I'll never forget that!!

Her presence will be missed.

Tuci's love and light radiated. She will be missed greatly. As a mentor early in my career,  she was always encouraging, loving and eager to share her talent and love for hairdressing.

Sending love and light to all of Tuci's family.

Tusi was a light in the world, and her beautiful spirit was a gift to me.  To her family, I wish you the peace and strength I know Tusi would want you to have.  I pray you all will carry on her legacy of kindness, strength, courage, and beauty.

Tusi came to my cycle class and I was new to the area having just moved from Florida. I looked up and I could tell that she just needed a hug, so in the middle of class I did just that and that started a beautiful friendship and of course I got a great hairdresser out of the deal! I will miss her and she is greatly loved. ❤️
