Tuck's obituary

We mourn the loss of a beloved son, brother, and friend, "Tuck" Weems, who left us on the earthly plane far too early on January 4, 2024, having only celebrated his 26th birthday. He was born on February 17, 1997.

Tuck is survived by his mother, Kimberly James; father, Steven Weems; loving siblings - brothers Ryan Warren and Chad Weems, and sister Stephanie Law. Tuck was predeceased by his cherished grandparents, Ethel and Joseph Weems.

With a personality best described as dashing, outgoing, witty, and talented, Tuck held a special light within him that he freely shared with the world. His love for life was infectious, making everyone around him enjoy every bit of their day. His love for bbq ribs, fried chicken, and sports - especially the Denver Nuggets - are fond memories those close to him will cherish forever.

Tuck always found solace in two activities - listening to music and writing. His favorite game, basketball, was a testament to his team spirit and a testament of his athletic ability.

Tuck's spirit of service was embodied in his three-year tenure in the Navy. His dedication, commitment, and contribution to the military community were commendable and serve as a testament to his valor. He was not just a serviceman, he was a true patriot who wore his badge with pride.

A regular attendee at the New Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, Tuck found solace and peace in his faith. His strong principles and faithful devotion have set a noble example for the younger generation.

A celebration of Tuck's life was held on January 20, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Jackson Memorial Funeral Services. We encourage all those whose lives Tuck touched, to remember and celebrate the remarkable man he was.

Tuck was a beacon of light in the lives of everyone he knew. He will be dearly missed, and his memory will live on through the stories and love we share in his honor.
