Anh Trung ơi, nghĩ đến anh là thấy nụ cười ấm áp, sự chu đáo và chỉn chu trong từng việc. Em biết tin muộn nên chẳng kịp nói chuyện gì với anh, chỉ biết nguyện cầu cho anh đi bình an thanh thản, và biết đâu anh lại gặp Bố em ở đâu đó, thầy trò lại uống bia với nhau anh nhỉ. Em biết ơn anh lúc nào cũng thăm hỏi, gửi quà chăm sóc sức khoẻ cho Bố em, dù đang ở gần hay xa, biết ơn cách anh sống để em noi gương. Anh đi về nơi an lạc, còn sự sống thật đẹp của anh vẫn đang tiếp nối trong những người ở lại. Em mong chị Hạnh và hai cháu vững vàng trước mất mát to lớn này, mẹ em gửi lời chia buồn tới bác và gia đình.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends. I haven't seen Trung for many years, but when I stayed a year at the Univ. in Hanoi in '98, while working for World Resources Inst. I had the pleasure to work with Trung. He was not only a very appreciated and efficient employee for the project, he was also an exceptional caring, happy and emphatic member of our little team - the week long trips into the mountain jungle would not have been the same without him.
