Truman's obituary
Funeral service was Sunday, January 2, 2022, at two o’clock pm in the McRae Chapel with Bro. Jon Henderson and Bro. Kerry Harbison officiating. Interment followed in the Memory Hill Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday, January 2, 2022, from Noon until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. James was born in Etowah County on November 23, 1948, to Joseph & Louisa Fox James. Mr. James was a Veteran, who served in the Vietnam War and retired from the construction business.
Mr. James is survived by his wife, Sheila Snider James; Daughters, Carrie James & Andrea James; Son & Daughter-in-Law, Justin & Wendy James; Step-Daughters & Step-Sons-in-Law, Lorrie & J.D. Wilson, Tracie & Sam Roden, and Magon & Wes Canady; Step-Son, Eric Snider; Brother & Sister-in-law, Mackie & Gail James; Sister, Jacquelyn Wade; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several extended family members. Mr. James was preceded in death by his Parents, Joseph & Louisa James; Brothers, Kenneth & Wendell James; Sisters, Mary Helen Pence, Shirley Ann Wilder, and Linda Sue James.
Pallbearers were D. J. Graham, Greg James, Broc Walker, Brian Mathis, Jacob Graham, and Bobby Mathis.
