Trudy Ann Symes McGrady, 81, of Mystic, CT, passed away on July 29, 2024.

Trudy was born on March 23, 1943 to Gertrude and Clarence Symes in Abilene, TX. After graduating John Marshall High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Trudy attended college and was one of the first female students accepted at Texas A & M University in 1964.

Trudy met her future husband, Michael, "Mickey" McGrady in junior high school and they began dating. …

Mom passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of 7/29/24. Cassie and Dad had been sitting by her bedside for many hours that night, talking to her, reminding her how much she is loved and telling her it was ok to leave -- that we will all be ok. They told her to say hello to Maryanne and Andy from all of the family! We know she is with them all now, catching up and watching over all of us.
