GARDEN VALLEY Gertrude "Trudy" Carlson passed away on September 16th 2024 at home surrounded by family.

Trudy was born in

Great Falls, Mt on April

25th 1952, to John and

Violet Fatz. She worked

at Burger Master where

she met the love of her

life. She married the love of her life Darrell Carlson

on September 2nd 1971. She had two children,

Teena and Marcus.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed reading, horses, hanging out with her family and her pets. She loved sitting outside on her porch at home and enjoyed being in the mountains.

She is survived by her husband, Darrell Carlson; Daughter, Teena (Robert) Sipes of Laurel, MT; Son, Marcus Carlson of Garden Valley, CA; Grand Daughter, Violet (Justin) Alsip of Laurel, MT; Grandson, Robert Sipes Jr. of Laurel, Mt; Grand- son, Dakota Sipes of Laurel, Mt; Great Grand Daughter, Abella Sipes of Laurel, Mt; and Great Grandson, Patrick Stubbs of Manhattan, Mt. She is survived by her Siblings; Brother Fred Fatz of Great Falls, Mt; and Elmer (Bonnie) Fatz of Black Eagle, Mt; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Violet Fatz; Sisters, Pauline Retchless, Pat O'Dell, Joann Korst, Kelly (Richard) Reiss, and Joyce (Tom) Davis; and brother, Jack (Evelyn) Fatz.
