Troy Lee Weatherly, age 61, passed away on September 10, 2025 in Austin, TX. He was born on July 28, 1964 in Austin, TX to Judy Hill and Newton Weatherly.

Troy was a nurse for about 30 years who helped many patients with their health. He was also a humongous nerd for all things fantasy and sci-fi such as Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings. Though, in his last few years, you would always catch him watching rom-com kdramas.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Marliss Weatherly and his child, Shelby Weatherly. He was preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother, Joe Weatherly.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Forest Oaks Funeral Home (6300 W William Cannon Dr, Austin, TX 78749) on Sarurday, September 27, 2025 at 12 p.m., with a reception to follow.
