Troy Anthony Parker, age 61, resident of Greenwood, passed away due to complications of having multiple myocardial infarctions on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Self Regional hospital.

He was the son of the late Willie Gaillard "Gilly" and Brenda Davis Parker. He was an only child, but had numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

I would like to do a memorial service with a funeral home so most people can be available to attend at a well known location, however depending on the amount of funds raised is what this hinges on. If I can't get enough funds raised, then we will have to plan accordingly to see if we can hold a gathering of some sort at another location. Date and time of the memorial service/gathering depends on how fast or slow we raise the funds for it. I'd like to give this a chance before I opt for a "plan B". This is all the information I have at this time, but I'll update as we go.
