Troy's obituary
Troy Michael Bell, 52, of Isanti, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on October 29, 2024. He was born on December 18, 1971, in Chisago City and was a long-time resident of the Cambridge-Isanti area, where he formed lasting friendships and cherished memories. Arrangements are pending.
Troy began his career as a meat cutter at Reichel Bros. in Isanti, working alongside his dad for many years until they closed. He and his dad continued to work together at Isanti Retail Meats until Dennis passed away in 2015. Troy’s passion for his job and people spanned many shops, including Von Hanson’s, Bradford Roadhouse, and his final position at EC’s Express. He was known for his dedication, skill, and the personal touch he brought to his work, as well as the connections he formed with the people he came into contact with. A proud graduate of Cambridge High School, Class of 1990, he remained close with his high school buddies throughout his life.
An avid sports fan, Troy was a die-hard Minnesota Vikings supporter and had a passion for NASCAR that brought him immense joy. He also enjoyed trap shooting, bowling, horseshoes, racing snowmobiles, and hunting. Troy loved riding motorcycles and four-wheelers, further showcasing his adventurous spirit. His love for sports and outdoor activities was matched only by his devotion to family and friends.
Troy is survived by his son, Curtis (Ashley) of Pine City; grandson, Ryker; mother, Linda Beyer (Mike) of Apache Junction, AZ; stepmother, Roxanne of Cambridge; brother, Brent (Wayne) Wilkening of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Crystal (Tony) Hedblum of Cambridge; nephews Dakotah and Brayden Hedblum both of Cambridge; and step-grandmother, Cathy of Cambridge. He is preceded in death by his father, Dennis Bell; grandmother, Eileen Whitaker; grandfather, Johnny Whitaker; grandmother, Lila Bell; and grandfather, Harry Bell Sr. Troy will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
