I have known Brittaney and her family since we were kids, and was so lucky to grow up seeing the love and closeness she shared with her dad. Trent made life fun —from the karate and football days to helping Brittaney and Brennan get settled, he made sure they lived life to the fullest (all while cracking jokes the whole time). I’ll never forget when they came to visit me at UF, he showed up with orchids and bonsais for my apartment. He was such a giver and bringer of smiles, he taught me how to care for plants, knowing the ones he gave me were Kelsey-proof and made sure to tell me not to overwater them. Trent sparked a love for gardening that’s stayed with me ever since.

Trent always had the gift of keeping things light, whether it was through funny nicknames or busting out rhymes at just the right moment to make everyone laugh. That humor was such a part of who he was, even in the hardest times. Brittaney cared for her dad with extraordinary love, and it was a reflection of the lifelong closeness they shared. He will always be with us, reminding us to put a little rhyme in our steps and bring smiles to the people around us.

Sending so much love to Brittaney, Brennan, and the entire Baker family.

Kind, caring and full of fun. Gone too soon. Sending love and hugs to his family❤️❤️❤️

So sorry for your loss. We are friends of Kay and the late John. We met a few times through the years when our kids were little. We visited you in Ft Pierce. You had a German shepherd who loved to collect pine cones in his mouth. He entertained the kids lol. RIP Trent.
