Travis Joe Palmerton Payton, 38, of Ekron, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, December 17,

2023. Travis was a loving and devoted son, father, brother and uncle. He was the life of the party and always put a smile on everyone's face with his jokes.

Travis enjoyed listening to music, working on his car, and working with his hands. He had a smile that could light up the room and he never met a stranger. Most importantly, he loved his children, and his nieces and nephews were his world. Travis will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on February 9, 1985 in Louisville, Kentucky to Truman and Melissa (Skaggs) Payton.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Palmerton.

Travis is survived by his loving family, father, Truman Payton; mother, Melissa Palmerton; sisters, Brandy (Robert Collins) Palmerton, Sherry Palmerton, Jennifer Palmerton, Trena Osborn; son, Jayden Palmerton; daughters, Breanna Palmerton, Marley Payton; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.
