Travis's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Travis Mann, who was born on July 24, 1981, and left us on June 14, 2023. Travis was a cherished member of his community and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
Travis began working at the Jim Dan Hill Library on June 3, 2019, where he not only found a rewarding career but also discovered an attendee at Library, a Librarianism place of worship. This became a significant part of his life, reflecting his passion for knowledge and intellectual pursuits.
With a taste for the unique and offbeat, Travis's favorite foods included Chicky Nuggers and Horror Pizza. He was known to wash it down with his favorite drink, liquid. Travis's love for the unconventional didn't end with his culinary choices. His favorite movie was The Librarian, and he appreciated pieces of art involving libraries. When it came to sports, Travis rooted for the Petard Hoisters and enjoyed playing Wibbling to Make Lights Turn On.
Adventure was always on Travis's mind, and he often frequented local spots such as the Jim Dan Hill Library. As for his favorite color, who knows? Travis's personality could be described as curmudgeonly, cold, bitter, spiteful, filled with Jello, and adventuresome.
Travis believed in sharing life lessons with others, including his profound observation that "If you park in front of someone's driveway, they'll offer to off you." Among his many accomplishments, Travis was particularly proud of not dying after parking in front of someone's driveway.
Leaving behind a legacy filled with Chicky Nuggers, Travis will be dearly missed by his flock of chickens and all who knew him. Rest in peace, Travis, your unique spirit and adventurous nature will be remembered fondly.
