Tranice's obituary
Tranice Campbell Garner, age 57, of Temple, GA, passed away July 15, 2023. She was born March 18, 1965, in Villa Rica, GA to the late Charles Buck and Janice Arlene Campbell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, River Garner. Tranice was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and graduate of the Haralson County class of 1983. She retired from the US Postal Service having worked there for 19 years. Her family meant everything to her. She had one of the most wonderful personalities a person could have in this life. She listened without judgment. She gave without expectation. She helped out because it was the right thing to do. She was honest because there was no other way to be. She didn’t stand behind the restrictive social walls we all like to build. If she wanted to say, or do something, she did it. Instead of judging people, she sought to understand them. She loved working, creating and building things, gardening, flowers and nature. She went to the ocean at every opportunity. The beach was her most favorite place to be. I like to think that she felt like she was close to the Lord when she was near the sea. She was very spiritual and often read her Bible. She had a loving faith for Christ. She absolutely loved and lived for her Husband, Children and her Grandchildren. They were her whole world.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Greg Garner, of Temple; son, Matthew and Elizabeth Garner, of Carrollton; daughter, Krysten Garner, of Buchanan; grandchildren, Raegan Campbell, Bentley Garner, Ian Garner, Liliana Garner, Tucker Thornton and Cole Thornton; mother in law, Lucy Garner, of Buchanan; brothers, Charles Campbell, of Bremen, and Kevin Campbell, of Rome; and sisters in law, Peggy Morris, of Cedartown, and Donna Bell, of Tallapoosa.
