To Skye, who she always spoke about in such loving quiet tones, I cannot express the deep sorrow that I feel for you as you mourn this great loss. Everything you did gave her joy!
I did not know her well, but, she was a healer to me. I am so grateful to have found her and so shocked at this news.
Drawn together, too, as almost neighbors, we could spend the short time we had together comparing notes, discussing shopping for food - books that we read - people we know in common, and, of course, the Eternal City, Rome. (She really understood it.)
Jesus once said, “no one knows the day or the hour, not even the Angels, only the Father.”
Losing Swan in the physical world to the spiritual one, drives this home, as does this beautiful obituary. She is with those she loves forever.
For me, she was the height of professionalism, perfection. I will always remember her in that light - miss her - honor the time we spent together and pray for her and for those she loves, especially Skye, her daughter.
Most of all, I will try to learn - again- that each moment matters, as she inspires me to capture a whisper of the calm she so gracefully expressed each and every day.
