Tracy's obituary
Tracy Lynn Verwey, 58, of Perry Township, passed from this life to her eternal heavenly home on Sunday, February 27, 2022. Tracy was born March 25, 1963 in Dayton, OH. She worked as a parts sales specialist at commercial trucking companies in Florida, North Dakota and Ohio where she excelled in this position and made many friends. Tracy had a kind and big heart and was always willing to help someone in need. Tracy was always an independent and strong person her entire life. She loved her pets and all animals but her favorite activity was spending time with friends and family.
She reunited in heaven with her dad, James L. Sharritts and grandparents, Thelma and Jack Harrington, paternal grandmother, Ruth Plummer and cousin Dianne Bastian.
Tracy is survived by her mother, Carol Sharritts, sister Joyce (Monte) Fox, daughter, Stephanie Smith, son, Brandon (Emma) Verwey, grandchildren Brookelyn (Andrew Barbee) Nevitt, Cameron Smith, Kayli and Marley Verwey, great granddaughter Serenity Barbee. She is also survived by her nieces, Brittany (Adam) Marshall and their children Elizabeth and Charlotte, Lindsey (Stephen) Hutson and their children Cary and Joanna, Mackenzie and nephew Jordan, her Aunt Barbara (Robert) Hilderbran, Uncle Don (Linda) Fleming and cousins Vicki (Larry) Hubbs and Stephen (Ruth) Fleming, Terry Johnson.
Tracy had many loving friends that were like family to her and who loved her dearly. Tracy will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Tracy’s memory can be sent to Aultman Hospice and Palliative Care 2821 Woodlawn Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44708. The family wants to express our deepest gratitude for the loving, compassionate care provided be everyone at Hospice.
