Tracy's obituary

Vidalia,

Tracy L. Silvey, age 45, of Vidalia, died Saturday, July 20, 2019 in White County.  She was born in Seoul, Korea, and as a result of her dad serving in the U.S. Air Force, Tracy and her family were stationed around the world.  She was a graduate of Northwestern High School in Springfield, Ohio and attended the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  She was a graduate of Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio and attended the University of Michigan for post graduate studies.  She earned a Master’s degree in Physician’s Assistant and Public Health Administration from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.  She worked as a physician’s assistant in New Mexico, Texas and Virginia and moved to Ailey in 2007.  Soon after moving to Ailey, Tracy began working as a PA in the emergency room at Meadows Health in Vidalia where she worked for several years.  She worked as a PA for Accordia Urgent Care and Family Practice, and more recently, Tracy worked as the primary care provider for the DOT Food family in Vidalia.  Tracy enjoyed yoga, traveling, and her next adventure and aspiration was the pursuit of a pilot’s license.  Tracy had a positive impact on everyone that came in contact with her.
  
Tracy is survived by her parents, Bill and Mary Silvey; one sister, Sara Silvey, all of Ohio; and several aunts, uncles,  and two nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 27th, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10:00 until just prior to the service.
