Tracy's obituary
Tracy Stocks Lester
Tracy closed her eyes in Ashippun just down the hall from her husband Tom on Tuesday night December 2nd and opened them in Heaven.
Tracy was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church (Oconomowoc/Ixonia) going back four generations. Her church was very important to her. She served in many ways but was best known for her roll as Sunshine Chairman. She would make cards for all occasions that included her original artwork, silly riddles and a heartfelt message.
Breathing issues plagued Tracy from birth. Asthma, COPD, and some of her medications combined took a toll on her life.
Tracy was so strong in self; in prayer and doing things her way. She was not immune to hurtful things said to her, but she did not let them diminish her. She loved with her whole heart. Laughter and joy were her strengths.
She knew and loved the Lord and spoke to Him faithfully. She believed God could do anything and shared this through the prayer chain weekly. P.U.S.H was her motto: Pray Until Something Happens.
Tracy Lester is survived by “my Tom”; her parents Sally Stocks nee Goetsch and Ronald Stocks, sisters Terry (Troy) Letts and Tanya Stocks (preceeded Tracy in death); her precious niece Alice and awesome nephews Samuel, Levi and Jeremiah…..who meant the world to her. She also leaves behind treasured relatives and all those she called friends --- you know who you are....
Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, January 10th. Visitation begins at 1:00 p.m. with service at 2:00 p.m. followed by fellowship and food at First Baptist Church N8340 North St. Ixonia, WI 53036
