Tracey's obituary

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Tracey Smith-Hurst, who left us on April 30, 2025. Born on August 21, 1961.

Tracey is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Levie, her son, Aaron Caudill III, and her grandchildren, Mason and Carter Neal. She also leaves behind her sibling, Lori Smith. Tracey was predeceased by her caring parents, Carl and Barbara Smith, and her loving brother, Richard Smith.

She loved the time she spent with the Ravens Roost Club and the Kaperettes Majorette & Drum Corp, both of which she cherished.

Tracey's love for the beach was where the sound of the waves and the warmth of the sun rejuvenated her spirit. She was also an avid supporter of the Baltimore Ravens, often sharing her passion for the team with family and friends.

Music played a significant role in Tracey's life, especially her time with Kaperettes. Her taste in music spanned different eras and styles, which she enjoyed either in solitude or in the company of loved ones. Tracey's favorite recreational activities included indulging in manicures and pedicures.

Tracey was more than just a neighbor to the residents of Hampden; she was a friend to everyone. She will be greatly missed by the community of friends and neighbors who cared for her.

A memorial service honoring Tracey’s life will be held on May 29, 2025, at 10:00am at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. We welcome all who knew and loved Tracey to join.

Tracey Smith-Hurst may be gone from our sight, but she will never be gone from our hearts.
