Torrison R. (Wilson) King, 79, of Raleigh died Monday January 7, 2019 in Duke Raleigh Hospital after an unexpected fall in her home. She was born June 23, 1939 in Wilmington, NC, a daughter of the late Leonard and Ramona(Sheer) Wilson. Prior to her retirement, she was a licensed practical nurse for 35 years. She was a member of the Hope Community Church-Raleigh. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emery W. King, a son, Emery W. King Jr., and a grandson Keion Washington. Surviving are four children, Nadia (Ryan) Deerm of Oklahoma City, OK., Ashton (Shania) Washington, Raiyna (Hunter) Freemer, and David King. She is also survived by many grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren including Julian, Nicole, Brenton, Vixen, Ashton Jr., Tori, Cece, Camden, Shayla, Roman, and Kayanna. Two sisters; Tara Adams and Donna (Franklin) Rhymes and one brother, Darius Wilson. She also leaves behind two dogs, Shadow and Pumpkin. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Hope Community Church-Raleigh. Parting prayers will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday January 10, 2019 at the church with a mass following. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope cemetery.
