Tonya is survived by her daughters Shannon Smith, Hannah Hancock, and Frankshae Ford, and her son, J.R Hancock. To them, she was a role model of resilience and compassion. Her influence will continue to guide them throughout their lives. Tonya is also survived by her sister, Monique Rankin, who not only was her sibling but also her most cherished friend.
