The world is a better place because Toni was in it. I am grateful for her light.
Ayal, your mother was an angel here on earth. She traveled to speak to our group fighting the HPV vaccine mandate in Rhode Island. Her knowledge and loving spirit will live on though the Foundation. We are forever grateful. Hugs to you and your entire family.

Toni, you were a force of nature and will be missed every day. You have made an enduring, positive impact on me, my family and this world. I'll be looking for evidence of your spirit in the waves where you liked to swim, on the mountains where you loved to hike and ski and in the sun that reflected your radiant beauty. Rest in peace, my friend.
Toni's energy was boundless. She was a great friend starting in the 5th grade when we were 10. Smart, witty, sassy, take no prisoners. Always ready to have fun, go on an adventure, push the boundaries. She fought a good fight and will be remembered always in our hearts. May she rest in peace.
A Truly unique woman with a lust for life that we should all admire. Her interests were wide and varied, her mind sharp and wild, her heart full of love. Toni — you will be missed by all who knew you. Rest In Peace — Tod

Sending all my love to Toni, her incredible Spirit and her family.
I have so many memories of Toni. None of which ordinary. Toni on the silks and Lyra. Toni swimming in the frigid Lake Michigan trying to lure me into the water. Toni dancing to her own beat in pink neon bikini while everyone else is only walking. Toni going full out at African dance classes. Toni going full out at circus arts classes. Toni making incredible and creative hats while sick. Toni going full out. Full out. Bright and shinning. Always.
Toni was my savior in the suburbs. Although I knew her when we were kids and then after college again through a close mutual friend, we connected in a much deeper way when I left the city, kicking and screaming. Over the next twelve years, she would offer refuge, support and stimulating conversation in her open Evanston home. Her mind and body never stopped in her deep dedication to knowledge, fitness and justice. She was unapologetic , confident and her convictions profound, qualities I admired. Yet, she was always willing to listen to all sides of any discussion; a rare trait. As we grew closer I was lucky to know her wonderful family and even share a few Shabbat dinners at Caryn's house. We cooked, we laughed, we danced. Her life was full of thought, music and compassion. I once said to Toni, "You take such good care of yourself!" She flung her head and her bountiful gray tresses and stared at me as if in disbelief and stated simply, "Well, nobody else is going to do it." That one simple statement continues to resonate with me. Yes, it all starts with the self. She urged me to move out of my comfort zone, to expand my culinary and intellectual repertoire, and to make a leap to start fresh in a new city where I knew no one. She healed countless people and lit every room she entered with electricity. May her memory be a blessing and may her spirit live on through those whose hearts and lives she touched.
