On October 16th, 2019, Tommy D. Lynch, husband and father of four, passed away at the age of 75 in Burlington, North Carolina following a long battle with cancer. Tom was born in Madison, Wisconsin on October 6th, 1944 to Marvin and Berdell Lynch. On January 30th, 1965 he married Mary Jo McFarland. They raised children Wayne, Bret, Kelly Jo, and Adam.

Tom started a career as a tile setter at a young age, which led him to become one of the industry’s foremost consultants. An avid sportsman, he would enjoy hunting and fishing with his sons and two brothers, Gerry and Jim, in locations such as Alaska, Canada, and Wisconsin. He would later author a book about his miraculous times in the wilderness after realizing his faith and purpose in the Lord.

He is survived by his wife, four children, six grandchildren, and one great grandchild. A service will be held on Friday, October 25th at St. Mark’s Church in Burlington at 3:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to REACH, a Christian project which reaches out to the next generation through St. Mark’s Church – a cause near to Tom’s heart.
