Karen leaves behind her son, Shane Rose, whose resilience and strength are a testament to her loving devotion as a mother. Her memory will continue to illuminate the life of Shane, as he carries with him the embodiment of her kindness. Karen also leaves behind her son, Brandon Hand, who she cherished and adored, and who upholds her legacy of profound love and care.
Karen was predeceased by her son, Michael Rose, whose memory she kept alive with tender remembrance and undying love. She was also predeceased by her ex-husband, Roger Rose, their shared memories forming part of Karen's rich tapestry of life.
Karen's life was celebrated on March 20 2026, at 10:30 PM at Graceland Cemetery West. Those in attendance commemorated the luminous spirit of a woman who embraced life wholeheartedly and nurtured those around her selflessly.
Her personality was best described as very compassionate and loving. Karen's life lessons emphasized the importance of remaining true to oneself, a principle she personified and passed down to her children.
