Tom was my mentor as a new hire into the PM department. He was kind and patient with me always. I enjoyed our talks and getting to know him and about his family. Tom shined at DI, he cared and will be very missed.

I'm heartbroken to hear of Tom's passing. We knew each other for 30 years, and he became one of my best friends. I will always remember all the good times we had together, the laughter, the serious talks about life, making fun of each other. Rest in peace my brother, fair winds and following seas.

I am so sad. Tom was one of the most kind and caring people you could ever hope to meet. I'll always remember his big smile and how welcome he made me feel the first time we met. His upbeat attitude and eagerness to share his knowledge made things fun, even when things got challenging. I miss seeing his collection of guitars, hearing about his family, and his curiosity about others. There's a big hole in the world now.

I am going to miss Tom's passion for all things lab and his intense authentic care for everyone whom he interacted with. I so enjoyed our collaborations on creating client messaging and his openness for feedback. Tom always wanted to be better and was always wanting to learn. I will miss his knowledge about Instrument Manager and his ideas on how we could improve our products for everyone.
Most of all I will miss his kindness and our chats.
My deepest condolences to Tom's family and hope that many happy memories will provide comfort at this sad time now and in the future.

I had the pleasure of knowing Tom for many years during our time together working at DI as a part of the PM team. To summarize my thoughts simply - Tom was a good man, a good colleague, and wonderful friend.
I remember fondly attending a training with Tom for a few days in NYC. We shared a few delightful meals together, a particularly memorable one in china town, and had made plans to see the Yankees play that night. This was a bit out of the norm as we were both tired, typical homebodies who tended to want to just go to bed and brave the next day.
However, in this case, we shared a mutual love of the game of baseball and were excited throughout the day to jump on the local train to the stadium after our training finished. Naturally as these things go, the game ended up being rained out. We were crushed. His love of the game came from childhood memories and keen interest in the thinking man's game. Mine, from my son's interest in baseball.
We didn't get to attend the game, but from that point on after learning where my interest in the game came from, Tom always asked how my son was doing and advancing. He'd listen to me rant on and on about youth baseball, share memories, commiserate.
It was part of what made him a good friend, colleague, person to vent to. He listened and cared. He was genuine. He was, simply, Tom.
I will miss him.
I extend my deepest condolences to his wife and family.

Tom, I will always remember you as someone who had his heart in the absolute right place. Not only did you do your best by DI and our customers, but you were the most thoughtful coworker and teammate. You always brought your best self and showed genuine care and concern for others. I will think fondly of our chats about the joys of babies and toddlers; it meant so much to me that you took such an interest in my growing family.
My thoughts are with you and your loved ones. You will be so deeply missed.

Tom knew that I am rarely at a loss for words, but this is one of those times. He and I spent many hours together over the years talking about Instrument Manager and clinical scenarios, as well as chatting about our families and guitars. My daughter's electric bass sits in our family room, and I think of Tom every time I look at it because he was kind enough to explain the basics of selecting a guitar and helped me to choose this one over the summer. Tom was a true icon, leader, and visionary at DI. He drove positive change and collaboration, and he always came with that world class smile, both on screen and in person. I will miss you, my friend. Rest peacefully. Sending prayers to your entire family and the many who loved you dearly.

I will miss all of this, and my thoughts are with his family and friends.

Tom had a way of making you smile with a story or anecdote. Whenever we'd chat, he would always make a point to ask about my kids and show genuine interest in what we were up to. His compassion was obvious to anyone who spent time with him. Thank you Tom for being a light for many of us. Rest in peace, friend.

I met Tom at a conference when I was less than two months into my job at DI and completely new to the lab world. He greeted me immediately as a peer and was so genuinely excited to not only share his lab knowledge with me but to learn about marketing from me. He was a joy to spend time with, he trusted easily and was easily trustworthy - I could always count on him. His passion in his work and advocacy for our customers and the lab in general was infectious.
I loved hearing updates about his family and my heart is with them in their grief. I will miss you very much, Tom. Thank you for everything.
