I am so sorry to read about Tom's passing almost 3 years ago now. He and my husband Steve Peavler (Steve passed away 18 years ago, at age 61) were friends, along with Jack Jones and others. My condolences to you, Nancy, and all of Tom's family.

Tom and Nancy's son spoke at Tom's memorial, and I put his words into practice. I placed Tom's memorial card in my wallet and when I am at my wits end, I remember what his son said: "Be more like my father!" And so, a lot of people do not know, but I have not lost my temper and have extended a hand of warmth because of who Tom Finn WAS and IS (in heaven), and, because of his son!! Much love to the Finn family!!!

Tom was a good friend of my father's and became a good friend of mine through that friendship and the workers' compensation field. I just found out about his passing. I am so very sorry. He always made time for lunch when he and Joe McDowell were in the City. He was such a good, kind man and always had such loving words for his family.

My cousin Tom had an old Irish soul.

He connected with me and others on a deeper level. He was always interested in what I was reading and what concerned me. Tom’s spiritual qualities surrounded him. I remember him telling me ‘be careful what you wish for’ and ‘God has more work for us to do here’.

Gentle, guiding, spiritual, kind, lovely. He had a keen insight into this world and the next.

Tom will be truly missed. 💞

Tom was always such a great hugger! You could feel the love flowing through him. We had so many great times together whether it was playing golf where Tom always shot well (if his first ball wasn’t so good he tried again with another) or just hanging out - usually at some family party with a Manhattan in hand. We shared a lot of love and a lot of laughs. He will be missed..

From playing football in his front yard when we were kids to playing golf with him on our trips to Bucks Lake and our last round of golf at Stanford a few short weeks ago.
