Tohru lived 2 levels below me in the building. We both lived in the same type of units with the same issues. He was extremely generous helping me out,  with all the apartment issues. Through his generosity we became good friends (and with Rez and Justin). Tohru is what I wish all neighbors should be.

God bless him.

Rezvan and Justin,

I am so sorry for your loss and I miss my old friend.  I still make his salmon teriyaki recipe to this day.  He was such a kind, gentle, caring man that was always there for others.

We would spend countless hours on the phone or cooking a meal for friends.  His art was amazing and attention to detail perfect.

With love and heartfelt sympathy,

Jeff Lee

Tohru’s departure filled us with sadness. Tohru’s exuded a kindness and lightness of spirit that belied his spirit. It brings to my mind the saying, Only the good die young,” and adds to the grief at his premature passing.

My memories of Tohru revolve around him playing with Justin while he would pause to expound on his views on the particular topic of conversation. He was so good at that. I also remember Tohru as a foodie.

To dearest Rezvan and Justin, and the rest of Tohru’s family my heartfelt deepest condolences.

I am so sad to have found this, so many childhood memories when we were kids never realized how we let time fly by between us.

Tohru, My Brother, You are in my Heart, You are in my Mind and I will never forget You… ❤️
Tohru, my nephew 's passing away leaves a heartache  no one can heal, Love leaves a memory No one can steal.
Tohru and I were friends for over 30 years. I still find it incredible that he is gone and I won't ever again hear about some random observation he's made about the world around us. He is missed. Rezvan, Justin and the rest of Tohru's family, you have my condolences.
