Todd Mitchell Parker, 56, of Bakersfield, CA, died suddenly on October 3rd, 2021 while visiting a Bakersfield park with his dog.

Todd was born on October 23, 1964 in Fullerton, CA to his parents Jim and Betty Parker. He came from a large family, growing up with four siblings, and had a large family of his own, sharing four daughters and a son with his former wife Sandra.

Todd's struggles with mental health and addiction carried throughout his life, causing much difficulty not only to his own well-being, but to those he was closest to, as well. Fortunately, during brief periods of recovery, he was able to express deep remorse for the person he had been and his desire to be better. He enjoyed riding his bike around town, going to the movies, giving gifts for his granddaughter Nia, and catching up with family over the phone, before ultimately succumbing to his demons.

Todd is survived by his daughters Ashley Hall, of San Diego, CA, Stacia Hall, of Bakersfield, CA, Jacqueline Parker Keen and her husband "Lord Samuel", of Nashville, TN, Katie Parker, of Bakersfield, CA, and son Todd A. Parker, wife Emily, of Portland, OR.

He is preceded in death by his parents Betty and Jim, his sister Lisa, and his brother John.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mission of Kern County, for providing food, shelter, and social services to those in need.
