I was a neighbor of Tobie’s. It wasn’t until Covid hit and I became unemployed that I really got to know her. I would walk my dog everyday and he loved to play with Blaze. I would talk with Tobie and Marcel and become very close to her. I’ll never forget I was having a bad day one day and they had gone to subway. She came by my house and brought me cookies to cheer me up. So very sweet. The last time I saw her was the day before they left to go to Colorado. I brought them homemade cookies for the ride and said goodbye. She will be missed dearly.
