Tina's obituary

Tina "Pocahontas" Pipps Gardner, a remarkable woman, often known as Pocahontas, but who strongly preferred Tina, first graced this world on September 21, 1977. Tina departed on November 1, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of strength, principles, and love.

Tina leaves behind her devoted husband, John Gardner, their loving sons Seth and Logan Melton, and their cherished daughter-in-law, Rhianna Krocher. Renowned for her affection for her family, Tina's heart also overflowed with love for her adorable grandchildren - Kaceon Leroy,  Maverick, Brayleigh and Brooklyn Melton. Her sisters and Brother -in- Law Karen "DeeDee" Sanders, Michael and Oretha Sanders, many Nieces and Nephews and a number good Friends also survive her, their bond enriched by the shared memories of their early years together. Tina was preceded in death by her  Father, Marvin Pipps, Mother, Margie Pipps,and Step-Mother, Mother-in-law Roxie Crawford Gardner, Step-Mother Nona Vestal, Brother-in-law Robert Sanders, Nephew Steven Sanders.

Unforgettable for her strength of character, Tina was a woman who was never afraid to share her thoughts and ideas, irrespective of societal norms or others' opinions. A woman who respected herself, Tina made it known that she could stand up for herself, her beliefs, and the welfare of others. The invaluable lessons she imparted to those around her included standing up for oneself and treating others as one would like to be treated.

Tina's greatest accomplishments, in her own words, were her sons, Seth and Logan. She frequently emphasized the pride and joy they brought to her life. Her legacy, however, lives on in her beloved grandchildren, who were often the topic of heartfelt conversation.

Tina Gardner was a true friend, her spirit resonates in the memories of those who loved her. Her memories, principles, and love continue to frame the lives of her family and friends, ensuring that while she may be gone, she is never forgotten.
