It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Tina Maria Vershel on April 2, 2024. 

Tina was born on April 23, 1959 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY and lived in Dayton, KY until she was 3-1/2 years old. After this, she and her family moved to Highland Heights, KY where she would reside until 1968. It was this year, that she would relocate to Pigsah, OH. She would remain an Ohio resident until she moved to Florida in 1979. Tina worked at Walt Disney World in the Magic Kingdom park for 42 years. Her kind spirit and infectious smile will be remembered by all those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glendal Bewley, and her brother, Edward Bewley.

Tina is survived by her husband Mike Vershel, St. Cloud, FL and mother, Mary Britt Joyner (Bo), Sycamore, GA. 

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her daughter, Ashley Connell (John) of Auburndale, FL and grandchildren Jordan Bewley (Noelle), Morgan Connell, and Kendall Connell. Her step-son Steven Vershel (Susan) and step-grandchildren Ryan and Dylan Vershel also survive. 

Tina is also survived by her siblings and their spouses: Natalie Cournoyer (Bob), Ft. Myers, FL; Roland Bewley, Scottsville, KY; Elizabeth Ellis (Brian), Longwood, FL; Rose Williams (Ted), Westmoreland, TN; Jessie Baryenbruch (Kurt), Bolingbrook, IL; Rita Bewley (Tim), St. Cloud, FL; Leslie Williams (Tony), Westmoreland, TN; Jennifer Miller (Mark), Traverse City, MI; Jeff Bewley, Portland, TN; Glen Allen Bewley, Gallatin, TN; Gary Bewley (Esmer), Gallatin, TN; and step-brother Bryan Joyner, Winder, GA.

Many beloved nieces and nephews also mourn her passing.

Tina's celebration of life will take place on April 19, 2024, at Spring of Life Methodist Church from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
