Tim's obituary
Timothy Hall Turner, Sr., age 61, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home on September 8, 2025. He was born on October 29, 1963, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center to Everett Turner and Berneda Colson.
A graduate of Rule High School, Tim built a life centered on love, family, and hard work. He enjoyed woodworking and found his greatest joy in spending time with his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Tim is survived by his life partner, Jamie Turner; his son, Timothy Turner Jr., and daughter-in-law, Hannah Turner; his daughter, Kelsy Williams-Mauricio; his grandchildren, Sadie Turner and Maverick Turner; his brothers, Ronnie Turner and Donnie Baldwin; his sister, Teresa Pritchett; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Billy “Bill” Ray Turner.
Tim will always be remembered for the deep love he held for his children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, and nephews. His family was his greatest priority, and he leaves behind a legacy of devotion and care.
A memorial will be held at the Foothills Parkway observation stop #04, the place where he married his beloved Jamie in 1996. In lieu of flowers or other gifts, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Tim’s name to the Diabetes Research Institute.
Tim will be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him and experienced his love and friendship.
