In Loving Memory of Timothy "Ace" Sims.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Timothy "Ace" Sims, who tragically lost his life at the age of 39 on February 24, 2024, in an act of Gun Violence.

Timothy, born on April 09, 1984, was a loving son, brother, and friend, known for his caring nature to wanting to help anyone in need and undeniable commitment to his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, sacrifice, and courage that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

A native of Columbus, MS, Timothy was a pillar of strength for his family. His warm smile, infectious laughter, and kind spirit touched the lives of all who crossed his path. Tragically, Timothy's life was cut short do to an unforeseen tragic altercation.  Timothy is survived by his Mother Mary Sims-Smith, his beloved siblings Barry Sims, Ledarius Sims, Corey Sims, Lia Sims, Brianna Sims, Ricky Jones, Pierre Sims, Rico Sims, and Niya Sims., and a host of family and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. The family invites friends and family to join them in a candle lit memorial service will be held on March 1, 2024, at 8:30 PM at 102 Brickerton St, Columbus, MS 39701, to honor Timothy's life. The service has been scheduled at this time so that his mother can be present to pay her respects.
Timothy's untimely departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but his legacy of love, courage, and compassion will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May Timothy Sims rest in peace and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
