Timothy H. Sheldon, 71, passed away on November 10th, peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Tim was born September 16th ,1947 in Dorset, Vt. son of the late Harry and Helen Sheldon. He received his education at the One Room Schoolhouse in Dorset and graduated Burr and Burton Seminary in Manchester, in 1967. He married Betty Ann Ouellette of Dorset on June 21st, 1968. They have three children, Lisa Marie Sheldon (who passed away shortly after birth), Nancy J. Sheldon, and Timothy H. Sheldon II.

Tim was previously employed with The Town Of Dorset. He enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing with his wife, children and grandchildren. Tim could always be found riding around the neighborhood or up the mountain on his four wheeler.

Timothy is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty Ann Sheldon, his daughter Nancy Sheldon, grandsons Kamden and Grayson Sheldon of Arlington, his son Timothy Sheldon II, daughter-in-law Fawn Sheldon, and grandsons Cooper, Spencer, and Sawyer Sheldon of Dorset. Tim is also survived by his brother John Sheldon of Dorset, as well as a special nephew Danny Sheldon and wife Rena of Dorset and many more nieces and nephews. Tim was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Helen Sheldon, his sisters Betty Jones and Sandra Keyes, his brothers Jim Sheldon, David Sheldon, and Harry Sheldon.

A gathering to celebrate Tim’s life will be held at the Sheldon Residence at 3536 Morse Hill Rd, Dorset Vt 05251, on Sunday, November 18th at 12:30pm.

In lieu of flowers; donations may be made to the East Dorset Fire Department through the office of Brewster Funeral Service, 34 Park Place Manchester Center, Vt 05255
