I met Tim in 2014.  He was still consulting with Michaels.  One of the many things I respected about Tim was his incisive intellect and demanding standards.  He did not "suffer fools gladly".  

Tim allowed me to help him manage his investment portfolio and I'm very grateful that he did because it gave me an opportunity to get to know him and work closely with him for the last decade.  

Tim asked good questions. Questions that required me to research and ponder a thoughtful solution.    One of Tim's strengths was his openness to listening and taking in new ideas adapting his thinking to new information. I believe this had a big impact on Tim's successful career and other life endeavors.   Working with Tim and being privy to his keen mind was a privilege.  Tim could cut through complicated market conditions and make thoughtful decisions.  Tim was never too arrogant to accept guidance.  

Knowing Tim definitely impacted my life for the better.  I will be forever grateful to call him a friend.

My sincere condolences to the Otte family.   Nothing I say will lessen the pain of your loss but knowing that he is with our Savior should bring peace to your hearts. I only had the pleasure of knowing Tim for a short period and that is truly regrettable.  He was an amazing person, beautiful inside and out.  Compassionate, intelligent, witty, engaging, simply full of life.  Rest easy my friend and we will see you on the other side.  

My sincerest condolences Otte Family. The death of a loved one is extremely painful. It’s unfair and takes away the people we love the most. Please know that during such a difficult time, you are not alone. Our father and God Jehovah is with you and your family. Psalm 34:18 says “[He] is close to the broken-hearted.” Know that he yearns to bring them back to life (Job 14:15). And soon he will bring a resurrection, John 5:28,29 says “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” May this promise give you hope and endurance to face the future with confidence.
