Timothy's obituary

Timothy James Logan, 65 of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away on September 24, 2021, after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.

Tim was born on September 6, 1956, in Blackwell to Albua (Buller) and James Logan. After graduating in 1974 from Blackwell High School, he went on to study at Sayer Junior College in Sayer Oklahoma.

Tim spent much of his life in retail sales but was the proudest of the time he spent as a lay minister in the United Methodist Church in Clayton, Oklahoma.

In 2009, Timothy and Kellie Otipoby were united in marriage in Braman, Oklahoma. They made their home in Ponca City and later lived in Topeka, Kansas. After learning of his diagnosis of cancer, he returned to Oklahoma to be closer to his family. Tim spent most of the remainder of his life in his family home close to loved ones and friends. Even in sickness, Tim was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church in Blackwell.

In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by one niece (Aryzona Logan) and one nephew (Dieter Seltzer). He is survived by his sister Barbara Logan and husband Chuck Oxner; brother Phillip Logan and wife Robin; nephew Phillip Logan Jr. and wife Faith (great-nieces Valerie and Aria); niece Shelia Logan and husband Jason Scott and niece, Gabi (Seltzer) Newell and husband William Riley Newell.

Memorial Service will be conducted at the First United Methodist Church in Blackwell, Oklahoma, Friday, October 1st, 2021 at 11 am. Family Dinner will follow.
