Timothy's obituary
He is survived by his three children; Terence and (Aubree) Ferguson, Kendra and (Riley) Thomson, Austin and (Danise) Ferguson, and the mother of his children and life-long friend Sheri Ferguson. Tim was blessed with eight grandchildren; Ryder, Hayden, Kyler, Nixon, Blayke, Stone, Bryton, and Radley.
He is also survived by his siblings; Robert (Pauline) Ferguson, Carol (Keith) Gray, Patricia (Curtis) Dunn, Jon (Janelle) Ferguson, Susan (Rudy Laguna) Ferguson, and Terence Ferguson. Tim was preceded in death by his parents; Robert and Eleanor Ferguson and his siblings Teresa Ferguson and James Ferguson.
Special mentions for Tim’s life-long friends; Dolly and Brian, “Rock,” Linda, the entire seismic crew, and the Devil’s Backbone gang.
Tim had a great love for the outdoors and nature; known to his family and friends as an adventurer, a nomad, and man of the lands. Tim’s life was rich with experiences which influenced his great wit, humor, and intelligence. A humble man of many talents, Tim always had the right answer to your questions, he was liked, loved, and looked up to by all.
He possessed a gentle, even keeled spirit and lived quietly in a cabin in Fischer, Texas for the past several years where he would spend the days with his beloved dog, Mountain, the wilderness, and the serenity that surrounded them both. He was a man who loved all animals both wild and domesticated; to Tim, everyone and everything was a friend.
He spent many years working as a long-term member of a close-knit family of friends providing geological seismic surveying services throughout the United States. He loved the smell of jet fuel in the morning and loved to beat the rush by flying to work.
Tim was a family man and loved his life-long friend Sheri, their children, and grandchildren dearly. Tim spent his final days in the home of his son, Austin (Danise) in Phoenix, Arizona, where he was able to be surrounded by his children, Terence (Aubree), Kendra (Riley), their mother Sheri, his special girl Mountain, and Austin’s extended family.
Tim will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him and we take comfort in knowing that we will meet again.
